Automatic clothes shader is a project that is able to automatically protect your clothes from the rain after setting them out to dry. It is normally frequent to see people often get their clothes wet after not being able to save them in time due to work or other constrictions. Therefore, this project will help to overcome the problem by detecting rain via a rain sensor which will trigger the shaders to open and protect the clothes from getting wet by rain water. It should also be able to retract back in order to not obstruct the clothes drying process after the rain has ended. Since this project was made aimed towards general consumers, its affordability was guided by a proper cost research so that it would provide a good business value in the drying rack industry.

A briefly detailed concept on how it works can be categorized to two parts, static and moving. As for the static part, it consists of a transparent roof with a rain sensor and shader roller installed on it. Basically, the transparent roof still provides a way for sunlight to pass through to the clothes to help dry clothes when it is not raining. As for the moving parts, when it is raining, the rain sensor will detect the rain as it touches the sensor and the shader will be automatically rolled out in order to protect the clothes from each side until the rain ends where it will automatically retract back to its casing.
