About the Project

Are you too busy to monitor the meals of your children? Do you have food picky children? No worries! DIETscan is an ultimate solution to provide balanced and nutritious meals for your children to ensure that they grow up healthily. Children’s health is often neglected because the parents are unable to monitor them routinely. DIETscan is here to provide balanced meals and track consumption and health progress for your children. DIETscan is a machine that scans your meals to identify the lacking nutrients so that it can then prepare all-in-one powder mixture of these missing nutrients to be to sprayed onto your food. Moreover, the machine emits vibration waves to allow the powder to absorb into the food. Now, the balanced meal is ready to be served and consumed to achieve your children's daily nutrient requirements!

According to UN, around 6.2 million children under the age of 15 years died mostly from preventable causes in 2018. Malnourished children are at higher risk of death from common childhood illness. Parents may find it hard to provide balanced meals for their children either due to busy work schedules, lack of knowledge or children being picky in food. Thus, this project aimed to contribute to the UN SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. This project requires collaboration with the brand Swisse as their natural and high-quality supplement range caters for all stages of life. This innovation will help the parents to ensure their children consume balanced meals and fulfill nutrient requirements as much as possible. Moreover, parents should be able to monitor and track their children’s health progress. As a result, families will be able to minimize health problems of their children by avoiding malnutrition, food allergies, and food intolerance.
