About the Project

Park- Eye aims to innovate a product that helps alleviate issue and to contribute to the betterment of the community during this Covid-19 pandemic. Our product - (Park-Eye), has a monitoring display, a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) facial recognition system with built-in temperature detector, high volume speakers and surveillance drones to ensure that the public complies with the park SOPs and for park users to feel safer during this pandemic. Our innovation is a combination of both product and process. With the Park Eye, tracking irresponsible users has never been easier as drones and data stored can easily alert authorities to step in and take action. We hope that Park-Eye will help ensure the health and well-being of recreational park users during this pandemic.

Organization: KKM, the government and residence association

Objective: The main objective of this project is to analyze and identify the issues faced by
recreational park users and to seek solutions as well as innovating a product in hopes to improve park user’s experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recreational parks are important for one to relax as well as doing exercises. However, during this pandemic, it is noticeable that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are not fully complied by park users. Thus, our goal is to ensure that the SOP is being complied with; maintaining every park user’s health and well-being, whilst still being able to enjoy their recreational time in the park.

Outcome: This innovation will help reduce the cases of Covid-19 and prevent the starting of clusters in the park. Government officials like KKM can benefit in a way that they can accurately apply contact tracing to prevent that individual from further spreading the virus or track others who are possibly in close contact.
