Smart Priority Repair

Have you ever wondered about applying algorithms based on the game of Tetris? We from Project DKW apply that algorithm theory to apply the problem our client company has: which is to improve the repair efficiency and technician productivity in the service centre.

Description: At the repair centre, there are hundreds of construction tools being delivered in and out in a day catering different kinds of customers from different countries. We at Group DKW are doing a study on increasing the efficiency of repairs and utilizing as many technicians as possible, increasing productivity in the repair centre, akin to Tetris. We studied by implementing algorithms varying by tool priority and reassigning tools in repair groups to help repair tools as many as possible the same day they arrived. In addition, our algorithm will then be implemented to smart display tags, to show labels as indicators for technicians to repair first.
